It’s time to show some gratitude to all the mom’s out there. This weekend is about them. We’re here to help you make Mother’s Day extra special for the women in your life. Perhaps you’ve already picked up flowers, a card, and a little gift. That’s great! You know what else she’d really love? Some delicious pancakes on Sunday morning. We’ve tested the easiest recipe that calls for ingredients you probably already have in your pantry. So print this out…grab the items below and let’s get cooking!
The Ingredient list:
Salt All Purpose Flour
Sugar Butter
Milk Baking Powder
Eggs
Here’s a photo of what we used:
The Utensils List:
A griddle or skillet
1 measuring cup
1 teaspoon
2 big bowls
1 small bowl
A big spoon
A whisk or fork
Now you're ready to start.
Step 1:
Take 2 tablespoons of butter and melt it in that small bowl…sit it on the counter off to the side to cool off.
Step 2:
Take one of those big bowls and put in the below:
2 eggs
1.5 – 2 cups of milk
Stop here…beat these two together using that fork or whisk.
Once they are well blended add that cooled butter and mix in.
Step 3:
Take that other big bowl and add these:
2 cups of the flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
A couple shakes of salt
Now stir them together using that big spoon
Step 4:
Take that first bowl and pour it into that second bowl of ingredients. Mix them together until you have a smooth batter texture.
Step 5:
Grab that griddle/skillet and put it on your stovetop . Heat it up and use some butter or pam so the pancakes don’t stick.
Once it’s hot scoop the pancake mix on the skillet making whatever size pancake you want.
Keep them on for about 2 minutes then flip them. Cook second side…less time for more doughy texture and more time for more crisp on the outside. Continue until all batter is gone.
Serve alongside some eggs, fruit, and drink of choice and you’ve got yourself a nice brunch for Mom!
